Sony C670X to sport a 4.8-inch full HD screen, 1.8GHz Snapdragon 600 CPU

Looks like we’ve got the first glimpse of Sony’s next super-phone. Marked as C670X (where that “X” is some number), it is a promising device that will be more compact than the Xperia Z.
The early rumor suggests it will sport a smaller 4.8-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) screen, while getting its power from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz. Moreover, it is said that Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean will run the show right from the get-go with Sony’s own UI most likely singing on top. Rest of the specs include 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and 13-megapixel Exmor RS camera.

And that’s about all we have at the moment. We’ve no idea when (or even whether) this device will be released and can only hope that will happen sooner rather than later. We’ll let you know as soon as we hear something new on this. Stay tuned…

iPhone with a 4.5-inch screen

We have two juice iRumors to share with you, one involving an iPhone with a bigger, 4.5-inch screen that could hit the daylight at some point next year. Of course, nothing is confirmed at this stage and since this is Apple we’re talking about, many things could change in the meantime. Just remember how they were intentionally leaking fake prototype before the original iPhone was launched to get some idea.
The second rumor says that the Cupertino folks are working on a cheaper version of the iPhone 5, one that would use polycarbonate instead of aluminum. This rumor goes on suggesting that such a device would be a bit thicker than the iPhone 5, available in more color options, while costing as little as $330. Now, we have hard time imagining Apple slashing prices that much (since the unlocked iPhone 5 costs more than $600), but then again – if this phone is released at the same with the first rumored device, it will make perfect sense to offer it at a substantial discount. In some way, it would be a sort of iPhone mini compared to the 4.5-inch iPhone.
As always, we can’t really tell what’s Apple up to and we’ll rather have to wait for few more months to get some new information. Whether that will be the iPhone 6 or, more likely, iPhone 5S. Staying tuned to IntoMobile can’t hurt

Core i7 Laptop for only $749!

Sony Xperia ZL coming to the US

Sony’s Xperia ZL (model number C6506), which was announced alongside the Xperia Z, is indeed heading to the US, or at least Sony’s website suggests something of that sort. The device is still not priced, but we know that unlocked unit will cost a small fortune (around $750).
The version Sony’s website is showing can sing along 5 different LTE bands, including Band I, Band II, Band IV, Band V and Band XVII. Moreover, it will be available in three different colors – black, white and red, the last of which was only recently discovered.

We’re still unsure whether some carrier will pick up this bad boy and honestly we’re not sure we care that much. We prefer the Xperia Z anyway — not only it’s a dust-proof and water-resistant, but it’s also thinner, hence easier to carry around. We’ll let you know as soon as we hear something new on this subject. Stay tuned in the meantime…

Samsung Galaxy Note 510 aka Galaxy 8.0 unveiled in India

Soon after announcing it at Mobile World Congress, Samsung unveiled its Galaxy 8.0 in India. Here, the device will be known as Galaxy Note 510, though it’s the same 8-inch tablet we’ve seen in Barcelona.
As you know, the Korean giant will be selling this device at a premium, offering it as a viable alternative to Apple’s iPad Mini. The tablet’s screen supports 1280×800 pixels resolution, while rest of its specs include Exynos 1.6 GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing one, Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, Wi-Fi and optional 3G connectivity, S Pen support, and a solid 4600mAh battery. Software wise, it will ship with a number of Sammy’s pre-installed apps and enhancements like Air View, Popup Play, ChatON 2.0, Direct Call, Allshare, and so on. Price was not announced, but we know when the Galaxy Note 510 will start selling – expect it to hit store shelves across India anywhere between March and April.
