This is not an ipad, don't expect it to be one.
Fit and finish is mediochre. Surfaces are shiny and clean, but seems a little flimsy for hand-held use. Best kept in the case it comes with.
Touch screen takes a little getting used to but works very well.
Wireless connects to my router ok, and speed seems ok.
App collection provided is enough to do basic functions like web surfing and audio/video playback. Getting more apps is not particularly easy, but when you find apps that run, they run well.
Battery life is so-so, you can watch a full movie before the battery gets low. But the battery will even drain with unit powered down. After a week it will be totally dead.
Mine arrived with a dead speaker, but I didn't care because the sound out of the other speaker was so poor that I just bought external speakers for it. (I had read in a previous review about the poor sound quality, so it was no surprise)
I also bought a 16G MicroSDHC card for it, and it works with it well. I load the card with apps and videos on my pc, then watch or install on the pad.
The case and keyboard that comes with it are very handy, it props up like a regular laptop, yet pull the keyboard plug and slide the pad out, and it's a pad.
Overall value is slightly better than what I expected, and worth every penny I paid for it, even with the dead speaker.
