Acer prepared an everything but impressive show at last week’s Mobile
World Congress. In fact, not a single new device was unveiled either at
that time nor few days before. We did see the Liquid E1, but it was
announced a whole month earlier.
Now we’re hearing that the Taiwanese company is looking to launch its
very first phablet soon. The information comes from Acer’s president of
Smartphone Business who mentioned something of that sort in an
interview for the official MWC paper.
The upcoming Acer Liquid S will apparently come with a quad-core
processor as well as other high-end components like 2GB of RAM, a ton of
built-in storage, and so on. We don’t have all the details at the
moment, but we’re sure Acer needs to beef-up its game and finally launch
a device worth talking about. we’ll make sure to get back to you as
soon as we hear something new on this. Stay tuned in the meantime…
