Android 4.1.2 update for LG Optimus G
Looks like Sprint has quietly started rolling out Android 4.1.2 update for its LG Optimus G. We don’t have the official information from the Now Network, but few members of XDA-Developers’ forums noted that their devices notified them about the new software. And they grabbed the 474MB-heavy file only to share it with the rest of the world.
If you’re not in the group who already got the update and can’t wait for few more days to take the official route, you can flash it without Sprint’s interference. You should know, however, that such a move could void your warranty, so you better be extra sure what you’re doing. XDA community could help you out — this thread has a ton of information to guide you along the way — but something could always go wrong. And if that, God forbid, happens – you can’t hold IntoMobile liable. Don’t say we haven’t warned youAndroid 4.1.2 update for LG Optimus G
